These Terms of Service govern your use of Sommelier Studio (“we”, “us”, “the service”). By accessing the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Age Requirement
You must be 21 years of age or older (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use Sommelier Studio. By accessing the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate sessions where we have reason to believe a participant is underage.
2. Who Can Use This Service
Sommelier Studio is intended for personal, social, and educational wine tasting events. Commercial use — including paid events, restaurant services, or resale — requires prior written permission.
3. Beta Access
Sommelier Studio is currently in beta. Access is granted on an invitation-only basis to a selected group of users. We reserve the right to revoke access at any time, for any reason, without notice. Features, workflows, and data retention policies may change substantially during the beta period. By participating, you acknowledge that you are using pre-release software and that your feedback may be used to improve the product.
4. Sessions and Join Codes
Session hosts are responsible for the conduct of their session and all participants who join using their code. Do not share join codes publicly.
5. AI-Generated Content
Heritage stories, tasting notes, and AI sommelier assessments are generated by a third-party AI model and are provided for entertainment and educational purposes only. They may contain inaccuracies. Sommelier Studio makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
6. Responsible Drinking
Sommelier Studio does not promote excessive alcohol consumption. Participants are responsible for drinking responsibly and in accordance with local laws. The service is not liable for any consequences arising from alcohol consumption at events where Sommelier Studio is used.
7. User Content
By submitting a display name, guesses, or any other content through the service, you grant Sommelier Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to operate and improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
8. Availability
Sommelier Studio is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sommelier Studio and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by Belgian law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
